St. John's Lutheran Child Care Center is one of South Austin's best kept secrets.  We have been in operation since 1967 providing excellent child care for the community.  We have always maintained a reputation of being a small family like facility where children are nurtured and loved.  Even though the licensing capacity is 65, we are full at 52 children due to our self-imposed low staff/child ratio.

We strive to maintain a healthy environment for the children and staff through the installation of an ultra violet light system by UVTronics in the A/C ducts and biweekly classroom treatments. As a result there are fewer absences due to illness.

St. John's has been certified as a Texas Rising Star, four star center, since 2003.  This means we go above and beyond what is required by the state of Texas Child Care Licensing.
